15 Days: January 4th through the 18th
“Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end… followed by a new beginning.”
Join me for an easy and accessible way of bringing more presence and intention into the New Year. During this 15 day challenge, you will deepen your understanding of the practice as we explore the foundations of mindfulness through the body, mind and heart. Through this process of learning, unlearning, and relearning together, you will create a fresh and new perspective for 2021.
The challenge will include:
1) Daily practices and meditation reflections emailed directly to your inbox as a way of consistently deepening your own practice. These emails are short, sweet, and inspirational; ready to be put into use each day.
2) Three online workshops (via Zoom) from 6 to 7:30pm PST each Monday of the challenge:
January 4th: the foundation of the body
January 11th: the foundation of the mind
January 18th: the foundations of the heart
3) Access to prerecorded meditations, optional writing prompts along with other resources to help you feel supported as we move through our time together.

Sample Daily Reflections and Challenges:
“What we practice only grows stronger .“
It is often said mindfulness is a way of being in the world, a training of the mind to look inward for happiness. This training is made accessible by practicing short moments, many times throughout our days. The daily emails of reflections and challenges will offer you the opportunity to build your mindfulness muscle in an accessible and doable way, feeling the impact grow throughout our time together. Here are a few sample practices and reflections:
The practice: one breath at a time
Breathing brings us home as the body and mind can rest together in the breath. As soon as we become aware of breathing, we are in our bodies. Speed up the breath and there's new energy. Slow it down and we feel calm. In the breath we are home in our bodies and in the present moment. How many times today can you pause and take a breath with awareness? It is just one breath.
Practice curiosity
Curiosity is living in the state of discovery not in a state of conclusion. Curiosity is our desire to know more deeply, to be open minded. Curiosity can change our perspective and world view. Where in your life could you be more curious and open minded? How might things shift?
Assume a positive outcome?
What might happen if you were to assume a positive outcome? Would your actions or behaviors change if you assumed the best rather than expected the worst? How might things change in your assumptions, attitude and perspectives? What might change in your relationships, experiences, or moments? What would happen if you assumed the best in yourself and others?
