Sometimes when things are rough and I am not feeling so good about myself, it can be difficult to send myself traditional loving kindness. Almost like I don’t deserve it or it’s not accessible. So, during these trying times, instead of sending myself these wishes of friendliness (may I be happy, healthy, peaceful, etc.), I find it easier and more accessible to send it to my heart.
